Drawing Competition Launched for Medicines for Children 10 Year Anniversary
Medicines for Children is celebrating 10 years! To mark this special anniversary, we are calling for children and young people aged 18 or under from across the country to get creative as we launch an exciting drawing competition.
We are asking for them to create their own bright and beautiful ‘get well soon’ or ‘sorry you are poorly’ card that includes the things that make them feel better when they are unwell.
There are four age categories and every entry will receive a certificate for taking part.
The cards will be judged by a carefully selected panel and one winner and one highly commended card will be selected from each age category. The lucky winners will receive a £25 gift card* and a goody bag, with highly commended entries receiving a £10 gift card and goody bag. In addition all cards will have the chance of being featured on the Medicines for Children website.
*Gift cards can only be sent to UK based entries
Entries can be submitted by post to Medicines for Children, RCPCH, 5-11 Theobalds Road, London WC1X 8SH, or email a photo or copy of your child’s card to Medicines.Leaflets@rcpch.ac.uk.
Please ensure that any photos are clear and free of shadows, as entries may be featured on the Medicines for Children website: www.medicinesforchildren.org.uk. The closing date for entries is Wednesday 2nd November. Please include the child’s name and age along with their contact details.

Medicines for Children is a partnership between the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH), the Neonatal and Paediatric Pharmacists Group (NPPG) and WellChild. Medicines for Children was established in 2006 to provide much needed information to parents and carers about their children’s medicines. We now have information leaflets on over 200 medicines which are commonly prescribed to children and also a range of videos on how to give different types of medicines. All of the information is developed and reviewed by an experienced team of paediatricians and pharmacists, and is certified by NHS England’s Information Standard to show we produce reliable and accurate information.
