Recently reviewed leaflets
We have been busy reviewing some of our early leaflets to ensure that they are up-to-date. In the last few months the Medicines for Children team and many health care professionals across the UK have helped review over 20 Medicines for Children leaflets, including:
- Ampicillin for infection
- Aspirin for prevention of blood clots
- Botulinum toxin for muscle spasm
- Captopril for heart failure
- Cetirizine hydrochloride for hay fever
- Clarithromycin for bacterial infections
- Codeine phosphate for pain
- Desmopressin for bedwetting
- Dexamethasone for croup
- Glycerin suppositories for constipation
- Lactulose for constipation
- Levamisole for nephrotic syndrome
- Methotrexate for skin conditions
- Midazolam for stopping seizures
- Morphine for pain
- Oseltamivir for influenza (flu)
- Paraldehyde (rectal) for seizures
- Pizotifen for migraine headaches
- Ranitidine for acid reflux
- Senna for constipation
- Tacrolimus for prevention of transplant rejection
