The Child Refugee – exploring the welfare needs of unaccompanied asylum seeking children

April 13, 2016

The RCPCH is holding a one-day conference on 24th May for anyone with an interest in how agencies can work together to support unaccompanied, asylum-seeking children.

The event features a knowledge-sharing, discussion-based format to encourage integrated working between professionals who have contact with child refugees. It is especially suited for those working in the health sector, education, social care, the legal system, the public sector, the voluntary sector, and other government agencies.

The summit will bring together a wide range of delegates to ask vital questions, such as:

  • How do we work together to respond?
  • What are the most effective ways to implement existing policies, standards and guidance in the real world?
  • Who else is out there for help and support?
