We have been busy reviewing some of our early leaflets to ensure that they are up-to-date. In the last few months the Medicines for Children team and many health care professionals across the UK have helped review over 20 Medicines for Children leaflets, including:

Ampicillin for infection
Aspirin for prevention of blood clots
Botulinum toxin for muscle spasm
Captopril for heart failure
Cetirizine hydrochloride for hay fever
Clarithromycin for bacterial infections
Codeine phosphate for pain
Desmopressin for bedwetting
Dexamethasone for croup
Glycerin suppositories for constipation
Lactulose for constipation
Levamisole for nephrotic syndrome
Methotrexate for skin conditions
Midazolam for stopping seizures
Morphine for pain
Oseltamivir for influenza (flu)
Paraldehyde (rectal) for seizures
Pizotifen for migraine headaches
Ranitidine for acid reflux
Senna for constipation
Tacrolimus for prevention of transplant rejection
