Our commitment to updating Medicines for Children leaflets

We have been busy reviewing some of our early leaflets to ensure that they are up-to-date. In the last few months the Medicines for Children team and many health care professionals across the UK have helped review over 30 Medicines for Children leaflets, including:

  • Paracetamol for mild-to-moderate pain
  • Amitriptyline for neuropathic pain
  • Phenytoin for preventing seizures
  • Sodium valproate for preventing seizures
  • Topiramate for preventing seizures
  • Vigabatrin for preventing seizures
  • Zonisamide for preventing seizures
  • Stiripentol for preventing seizures
  • Rufinamide for preventing seizures
  • Lacosamide for preventing seizures
  • Amoxicillin for bacterial infections
  • Erythromycin for bacterial infections
  • Flucloxacillin for bacterial infections
  • Penicillin V for bacterial infections
  • Trimethoprim for bacterial infections
  • Sodium bicarbonate for acidosis
  • Sodium chloride for hyponatraemia
