Medicines for Children to be included on a new medical knowledge platform
Medicines for Children is delighted to be included on the Eolas digital platform, designed for health professionals to manage and share clinical knowledge and resources. Through this partnership, Eolas will signpost healthcare professionals to Medicines for Children, making it simpler for clinicians to share our medicines leaflets with parents and carers.
Eolas – pronounced “oh-lus” from the Irish word for knowledge – provides healthcare professionals with an online platform to help them find, manage and share approved local and national guidance, as well as medicine resources, clinical guidelines and calculators – in one manageable location.
The platform can be easily searched – making it easier for healthcare professionals to find the information they need in one place. This reduces the time that clinicians spend looking through multiple sources and helps them to keep up to date. The platform also supports more consistent information for healthcare professionals across different regions. This partnership ensures that healthcare professionals will be signposted to Medicines for Children’s resources and can share the medicines leaflets with parents and carers.
