How can we improve Medicines for Children?
The Medicines for Children team needs your help! We aim to provide reliable and accessible information on a range of medicines given to children. We want to hear from parents, carers, health care professionals - anyone who uses Medicines for Children - to understand if our information has been helpful, and what we could do to improve.
The Medicines for Children website is designed to provide reliable and accessible information on a range of medicines given to babies, children and young people. We aim to do this in a format that is easy to read, providing the key information that families need to know. The small team behind the website are committed to ensuring that Medicines for Children is as helpful as possible for parents and carers, and because of this, we are interesting in hearing from our users to better understand their experience of using our website.
We are launching a short survey which aims to gather views on the usability of the website, the clarity and usefulness of the information provided and to gain insights into what we could be doing better. We are also interested in the knowledge that our users may have gained or changes they may have made to their actions after accessing the information on the Medicines for Children website. The responses collected will help to guide us in making improvements to better support families in managing their children’s health needs.
We understand how busy people’s lives are but the team would hugely appreciate if as many people as possible who have used Medicines for Children before are able to spare 5-10 minutes to complete the survey. Although our primary audience is parents and carers, we also know that a range of health care professionals access our website to direct their patients here. We we would love to understand further how health care professionals might be using Medicines for Children in their workplace – are you printing the medicines leaflets, or sharing weblinks? Or displaying the QR code posters in your clinics? The survey is open to all and we welcome responses from everyone.
We greatly appreciate any time that you can give us, as well as your honesty in answering the survey questions. On completing the survey, there is also the option to participate in a follow-up conversation to share more detailed feedback. This will help us gain a deeper understanding of our users’ experiences and further refine our resources.
Thank you to anyone who is able to complete this survey for us – your feedback is invaluable to help us understand how the Medicines for Children website is serving the needs of our users and how we can improve our resources to the benefit of all users.
