“What we need as parents is clear, understandable and consistent information about the medicines we give to our children. It can be stressful enough for parents when their child is ill, without the added anxiety of ploughing through complicated information and worrying about the risks of not giving a medicine correctly.”

“My daughter has very complex health issues with a long list of medication she requires on a daily basis. All of these medicines have to be administered via her jejunal feeding tube as she cannot take anything orally (by mouth). I find it very frustrating when the information leaflets that come with medication do not state whether they can be administered via a gastrostomy/jejunal feeding tube. Not all children can take medicines orally, so I feel it's important to have the additional information for tube fed children."

"My little girl has six different medications in the morning and seven in the evening. As a parent trying to learn the names, dosages and side effects of all these drugs it is vital to have a simple yet thorough guide to medications, written in terms that non-medical professionals (i.e. most parents) can understand, in order to feel confident with their administration."
